This is Qubo Gas's website. Qubo Gas are a collection or three french artists who work with a variety of painting, drawing, collage,video instillation and digital animations.Not only do I really like their artwork but i really like the flash on their website. Their hand drawn and messy style really appeals to me and the sound affects are awesome. Its quite quirky and unusual however its a shame that the pages open up as pdf's on the website.
After finding out that Qubo Gas have made animations I was quite excited to see them. I found this on youtube however, it really disappointed me and thought it was pretty crap. The shapes are the same throughout just moved around or the size changed nothing happens. It looks like someone was just having a play around on after affects.
I found this flyer for the warehouse project at the bar I'm working at. From being at the warehouse project before I instantly recognised the individual brand identity. I was really drawn to and really impressed with the high quality finish of the flyer. I really like the bright colours used in a simple way and the embossing really stands out in a dark bar situation. The design is very contemporary and very appealing to their audience.
